The nearest gateway to Alpe d’Huez is the city of Grenoble. If you’re already in Europe, you’ll find that many low-cost carriers serve Grenoble.
If you’re coming from further afield, it may be more economical to fly to Lyon or Paris and take the train to Grenoble. Alternatively, you can fly to Geneva, Switzerland, and take the train to Grenoble.

Alpe d’Huez is also a real paradise for snowboarders, with two well-maintained snowparks and numerous adapted lifts and chairlifts.
